Morara Kebaso Urges IG Douglas Kanja to Arrest Attackers After Assault at Bomas

Morara Kebaso has called on Inspector General Douglas Kanja to take swift action and apprehend the individuals who assaulted him at Bomas.

Kebaso, who suffered injuries during the attack, is demanding justice and accountability for the violent incident.

“The IG and your team, where are those people who attacked Kebaso before the media? Can we see them being arraigned in court? That is our request,” the family spokesperson stated while a frail Kebaso looked on.

“We are here to condemn what happened at the Bomas of Kenya when the young man Morara was attacked.”

Morara Kebaso has called on Inspector General Douglas Kanja to arrest those responsible for the brutal attack he endured at the Bomas of Kenya. The incident occurred on Friday when Kebaso attended a public forum concerning the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Initially blocked from entering, Kebaso was eventually granted access with the assurance of security. However, chaos erupted when he took the stage to share his views. A group of goons, allegedly paid to cause disruption, attacked him with chairs as he attempted to leave the venue, leaving him with injuries.

Kebaso’s family expressed outrage, claiming that the attack was orchestrated by certain Members of Parliament who had previously blocked him from entering the venue. “People could hear MPs, men who are fathers to children possibly older than Morara, urging the crowd and their hired goons to attack him,” a family spokesperson stated.

The family has called for justice, reminding the public that Kebaso, like any other Kenyan citizen, has the right to safety and respect. They are urging authorities to hold those responsible accountable.
