NYS Announces 217 Job Opportunities for Graduates in Saudi Arabia
The National Youth Service (NYS) has unveiled 217 job openings for its male graduates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement released on Sunday, NYS expressed excitement about the opportunities, which are offered in collaboration with a reputable, registered recruitment firm in Kenya.
“Through our client, a reputable and duly registered recruitment company in Kenya, we are delighted to inform our esteemed graduates [male] of exciting opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the statement read.
The positions come with varying salary ranges depending on the role. The available positions are:
- Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 60 positions
- Heavy Equipment Electricians: 65 positions
- Generator Technicians: 62 positions
- Automotive AC Technicians: 30 positions
Job Descriptions and Requirements
Heavy Equipment Mechanics
Candidates will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on AMHEC equipment, particularly mobile cranes.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Plant Mechanics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience with heavy equipment like cranes.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Valid passport and a current certificate of good conduct.
Heavy Equipment Electricians
Applicants will handle repairs and servicing of electrical components such as starter motors, monitors, displays, and camera systems.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Grade Test in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment, including cranes.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy equipment electrical systems.
- Proficiency in English, valid passport, and good conduct certificate.
Generator Technicians
The role involves inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of diesel generators and voltage systems, ensuring professional and timely execution of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Cummins, CAT, or Perkins generators.
- Over 10 years of experience in electric diagrams, excitation systems, and AVR mechanisms.
- Certificate, Diploma, or Grade Test in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
- Proficiency in English, valid passport, and good conduct certificate.
Automotive AC Technicians
Technicians will assess, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems in heavy machinery, trucks, and light vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Experience with AC systems for heavy equipment.
- Diploma, Certificate, or Grade Test in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in English, valid passport, and good conduct certificate.

Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, November 23, and Sunday, November 24, at the NYS headquarters in Nairobi.
