President William Ruto is set to deliver the State of the Nation address today at 3 PM in Parliament.

Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula, confirmed the address, urging members to note logistical arrangements by the Clerk’s Office. “There will be a little inconvenience,” he remarked.

The Constitution mandates the President to update Parliament on national security, the progress in achieving national values, and measures taken by the government. Additionally, Article 132 requires the President to report annually on actions taken to fulfill Kenya’s international obligations.
