She gained attention when a video surfaced showing her employer’s children crying uncontrollably as she departed Lebanon for a holiday in Kenya.
The emotional video resonated deeply with people, and despite numerous opportunities presented to her due to her kindness, Rosie declined them all, choosing instead to reunite with her employer, Mama Catelaya.
Breaking her silence on her decision to leave her job in Lebanon and return to Kenya where her own children reside, nanny Rosie, a young mother, had been caring for little Maria and Cataleya in a Lebanese family, where she was cherished.
Rosie shared a poignant video on her Instagram account, capturing the heartfelt farewell as she departed from the family.
Videos circulating on Instagram and TikTok showed Rosie looking pensive and saddened as she prepared to depart. In one video, she could be heard asking the children not to cry.
According to Rosie’s employer, as revealed in the videos, Rosie was sent back home to Kenya so she could reunite with her own children.
In her own words, Rosie shared that she had made a promise to Maria and Cataleya to return to them, and she expressed joy in fulfilling that promise.
Rosie clarified that she had left the Lebanese family she worked for and had no plans to return. She cited personal reasons for her departure but mentioned that she would elaborate on those reasons at a later time.
Rosie is coming back to Kenya to take care of kids and establish herself locally.
