Kenyan comedian and media personality David Oyando, better known as Mulamwah, has suffered a setback by losing his TikTok account, which had amassed 1.1 million followers.
Mulamwah informed his fans of this development and urged them to follow his new account. He expressed frustration over the ban, especially since he had recently stood in solidarity with fellow Kenyans during protests against the Finance Bill of 2024.
During the protests in Nairobi, Mulamwah joined Gen Z demonstrators, offering them transparent buckets filled with mandazis, flasks of tea, and a pack of tumblers as a gesture of support.
“Niliwaserve hadi maandazi na bado mkaamua kuenda na account yangu.”
