Bodies of two missing men found dumped in Kasarani, Kiambu

The body of a 26-year-old man who disappeared in Nairobi on New Year’s Eve after a night out at an entertainment spot in Kasarani has been found in the same area.

Ian Singoe, who had reportedly traveled to Nairobi from Bomet on December 29, 2024, to finalize job-related paperwork, went missing after an outing on the night of December 31.

According to his mother, Pauline Korir, Ian left to meet friends at a Kasarani joint but never returned to the home where he was staying. Relatives who checked his phone noted that it was active until around 1 a.m. on January 1, 2025, before going silent.

His body was later discovered in the Kasarani Mwiki area, and investigations into his death are underway.

In a separate incident in Kiambu County, residents of Kawaida near Banana discovered the lifeless body of a 27-year-old man who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances.

The deceased, identified as John Muchiri Muthoni, was last seen on Friday, January 3, 2025, at around 3 p.m. His girlfriend reported receiving a phone call early Saturday morning directing her to the location of his body. Upon arrival, she found him stripped naked and bearing visible injuries.

The body has been moved to Kihara Sub-County Hospital Mortuary, where a postmortem is scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2025.
