Kenya topped the global rankings for time spent on social media, according to the recent Digital 2024 Report in partnership with Visual Capitalist.
The report revealed that Kenyans spend an average of 3 hours and 43 minutes per day on social media—significantly above the global daily average of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
This is an impressive one hour and 13 minutes more than the worldwide average for social media usage among internet users aged 16 to 64.
Notably, these figures only cover time spent on social media platforms, excluding other types of internet browsing.
