A Mombasa Court has found a man blameworthy of contaminating a 16-year-old young lady in Likoni.

George Odhiambo Owino, a Kenya Protection Powers (KDF) officer based at Mtongwe Maritime Base, was blamed of debasing the young lady on differing dates between July 3 and November 16, 2020.

She told the court that Owino went to their house where they had sex on her mother’s bed whereas she had gone to work and her kin were out playing.

“She expressed that they had sex four times in their domestic and afterward found that she was pregnant around Eminent 2020,” court papers examined.

The court listened that he utilized to send her more youthful children to their close relative and stay with the 16-year-old young lady alone within the house some time recently having sex with her.

In his resistance, Owino told the court that the young lady had a huge body.

“She told him that she had connected for an ID but it had not come out however. He expressed that the complainant utilized to do casual work for individuals and she utilized to inquire him for offer assistance and he would offer her food,” the case records say.

The man was found guilty of defilement, contrary to Section 8(1) as read with Section 8(4) of the Sexual Offences Act of 2006 and committing an indecent act with a child, contrary to Section 11(1) of the Sexual Offences Act.
