A young man from Garissa found himself at the center of attention after his bold attempt to impersonate a woman ended in embarrassment.

The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, disguised himself in a buibui, bralette, and black top, allegedly as part of a scheme to deceive a senior Isiolo County official.

Details about how the ruse was discovered are unclear, but his actions reportedly raised suspicions, leading to his dramatic unmasking.

A viral video shows him at a police station being stripped of the buibui and bralette, revealing jeans trousers underneath, to confirm his true identity.

The incident has ignited widespread discussions on social media, with many shocked by the extreme lengths the young man went to for financial gain.

According to Mahat Ali Kappaze, a visitor to the police station, the young man’s family devised the plan to raise money for rent and food.

“They intended to stop a day before he was arrested,” Mahat revealed, further disclosing that the family had already purchased a car with funds collected through TikTok donations.

This bizarre turn of events has sparked debate about desperation, deception, and the ethics of exploiting others for financial benefits.
