Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua shared his joy on social media as he returned to his hometown in Nyeri County after weeks of contesting his removal from office.
Though his efforts to prevent the swearing-in of his successor, Kithiki Kindure, were unsuccessful, Gachagua expressed relief and gratitude at being back home with his family.
“Home Sweet Home! Thanking God for the gift of my family. The smell of fresh grass and sounds of chirping birds is what a happy family needs,” he posted.
