Renowned media personality and news anchor Betty Kyallo has expressed her dismay over a distressing video involving acclaimed US singer P Diddy and his ex-girlfriend Cassie.
In the footage, Diddy is observed rushing towards Cassie clad in nothing but a towel. He proceeds to grab her by the hair, hurl her around, and physically assault her.
Betty vehemently condemned such behavior, denouncing men who perpetrate violence against women as despicable individuals. She urged people to cease supporting the singer, emphasizing the importance of holding such abusers accountable for their actions.
Expressing her frustration, Betty, a father to four daughters, questioned how anyone could harm an innocent woman, advocating for the simple solution of leaving if one no longer feels affection for their partner.
Moreover, Betty implored individuals to boycott Diddy’s music, labeling him as trash along with any man who engages in the abuse of women, whether it be physical or emotional.
However, despite the outrage sparked by the video, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office clarified that they are unable to press charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs due to the statute of limitations. They described the footage as deeply disturbing but explained that the incident occurred beyond the legal timeframe for prosecution.
The district attorney’s office encouraged victims or witnesses of crimes to come forward and report such incidents to law enforcement or their office for appropriate action.
