Four young Kenyans abducted in December 2024 have reached out to their families, bringing relief to their loved ones.
On Monday morning, the families of Billy Mwangi, Peter Muteti, Bernard Kavuli, and Rony Kiplangat confirmed that their kin had made contact.

Citizen Digital reports that Rony Kiplangat was located in Machakos County, while Bernard Kavuli, who was abducted in Ngong, was found in Kitale. Peter Muteti was discovered in Nairobi’s Central Business District, though his family noted he was disoriented and is now recovering at home.

However, the whereabouts of cartoonist Kibet Bull remain unknown. His family stated they have only heard from Rony Kiplangat, Kibet’s brother, who went missing shortly before the cartoonist’s abduction.
Meanwhile, Steve Mbisi, another individual reported missing, has yet to be located.
