Offering insight into the family’s decision, Njambi’s father shared that they chose Lang’ata Cemetery over their ancestral village to honor her late grandmother, who rests there. He expressed the family’s desire for Njambi to be near her grandmother’s grave.

“The memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, with further details to be provided ahead of the burial on Friday at Lang’ata Cemetery. We opted for this location as it holds sentimental value—her grandmother’s resting place—and we wished for Njambi to find peace close to her,” the father elaborated.
