“The Senate is scheduled to convene today to hear charges against impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

In a special gazette notice, Senate Speaker Amason Kingi announced that the session will begin at 9:30 a.m.

At the sitting, the Senate will also determine whether the case will proceed through a select committee or be addressed by the full plenary.”
