“Being a teacher demands creativity and commitment. You have to find ways to connect with the children and awaken their inner child,” she shared passionately.

Cillah recounted moments when her students eagerly asked to record their learning experiences. “They know that when we’re having fun, they’ll remember the lesson better,” she explained. “When I see them grasp concepts quickly and execute them perfectly, it fills me with pride as a teacher.”

According to Cillah, incorporating singing and dancing into lessons helps bridge the gap between teacher and student. “In the old system, you either understood the material or you didn’t,” she noted. “But with music, concepts stick faster. The rhythm and melody stay with them, making learning more enjoyable and memorable.”

She revealed her method of staying current by listening to trending songs and using their beats to craft engaging lessons and notes for her young learners. “I find great fulfillment in nurturing children from the earliest stages of their education,” she confessed. “Watching them grow, overcome challenges, and develop their voices fills me with pride.”

Although Cillah initially aspired to teach high school students, she discovered her calling in the lower grades. “My academic performance redirected my path,” she reflected. “But I’ve found immense purpose and satisfaction in guiding these young minds through their formative years.”
