Head-On Collision Between PSV Bus and Trailer on Nairobi-Mombasa Highway

A serious accident involving a public service vehicle (PSV) bus and a trailer occurred along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway on the morning of Sunday, November 10.

The crash, which took place near Salama Town in Makueni County, involved a bus traveling to Malindi and a trailer coming from the opposite direction.

A witness shared a video describing the incident, which shows the bus colliding head-on with the trailer.

At the time of reporting, no fatalities had been confirmed. However, early reports suggest that several passengers may have sustained injuries, though the full extent of the damage is still unclear. Emergency services are currently on-site to assist.

Video clips showed that the bus had overturned after the collision while the truck head was in an upside position with crowds milling by the roadside.

Following the accident, motorists have been advised to exercise caution and expect possible delays along the section of the busy Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.
