Activist Morara Kebaso Attacked and Injured in Narok During Project Tour
Morara Kebaso, a well-known activist, was attacked and severely injured along with his team while on a tour in Narok County. The team was inspecting stalled projects when the incident occurred.
Attack Details
- Morara Kebaso was in the Ololunga area of Narok County.
- He and his team were conducting their routine inspections of local development projects.

Call for Help
Following the attack, Morara posted an urgent message on his social media asking for help:
- He and his team were stranded on a tarmac road between Ololunga and Mau.
- Kebaso reported that they were unable to contact the police or receive help.
- He specifically mentioned that one of his team members, Mr. Mudhune, had a head injury and needed to be moved to a safer hospital.
- Another team member, Shiku, suffered hand injuries.
Morara’s message:
“I am unable to communicate with anyone who can contact the police to come to the tarmac from Ololunga to Mau. Please help. Mr. Mudhune has a head injury, and we are transferring him to another hospital for safety. Shiku also has injuries on her hand.”

Projects Exposed
Earlier in the day, Morara shared photos from his visit to Ewaso Nyiro, where he was addressing a large crowd. He had also exposed a number of projects in the area, including:
- Narok West Hospital – A hospital project that stalled despite receiving large funds.
- The hospital was allocated KSh 558 million in the first round of funding.
- Another KSh 469 million was allocated in the second round, but the project remains incomplete.
- Narok KMTC – The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Narok also stalled despite receiving funding twice.
- The first allocation was KSh 288 million.
- A second allocation of KSh 118 million was made, but there has been little progress.
